Prince Singhal, the initiator of the “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaign in India , a dedicated advocate for safer roads and a social reformer who passionately promotes road safety to make a positive impact on society. Known for his unwavering commitment, responsibility, and dedication, Prince Singhal exemplifies the qualities of honesty, integrity, and perseverance in all his undertakings. Through his tireless work, he aims to bring about meaningful change, focusing on not just raising awareness but also driving concrete action. Through leadership and social responsibility he  contributes toward a better and safer society for all.

Activist Prince Singhal - Highlights

  •  Diligently working in the public arena addressing since 2001 addressing India’s crucial public health concern of alcoholism and road accidents
  •  Bringing a positive change in the system through effective advocacy within the community besides engaging in seeking reforms through judicial and legislative recourse
  •  Widely recognized and applauded for his efforts on single handedly crusade against drinking and driving issue in the country, through his perseverance
  •  Recognition of Drunk driving as one of the single largest cause responsible for road accident tragedies in his capacity as Member, National Road Safety Council, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI
  •  He paved way through his continuous petitions and appeals for recognition of Road Safety as a public health concern and inclusion as part of the CSR Act of Ministry of Commerce, GOI
  •  Was involved with drafting and passage of the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act 2019 during his tenure as Advisor Road Safety – Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI
  •  He was involved with policy formation at a national level on the 4E’s of Road safety ie education, engineering enforcement and environment
  •  He was involved with the working committee for Road Safety education as a member under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway, GOI to formulate a policy on road safety education
  •  Only man who has been fighting for the cause of drunk driving prevention in Indian and Asia since 2001
  • Since the year 2001 Prince Singhal is also recognized as the Initiator of “Don’t Drink and Drive Movement “in the country besides being the founder of CADD- Community against Drunken Driving, an integrated community movement to work towards prevention of drunk driving tragedies.”

Prince Singhal did his schooling from Mount.St. Marys School (ISC), Delhi and completed his graduation from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University and masters in social work. He is a law graduate and is a leadership and Public Policy Professional from Harvard.
